Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

These weird characters … where do they come from ? I encountered them on my latest journey... i had so many positive and wonderful encounters and experiences on this journey.. but of course, there is always a not so nice side to everything, and slowly this side is also showing itself, emerging from deep within my soul. which is good.. a relief.. part of the process of acceptance and integration. Why Cardboard? it has been used.. there is energy in it.. it is not pristine like watercolour paper that hasn’t been used before.. is clean and proper, almost virginal .. but this material has been in different hands, used, with a purpose, like a skin it is protecting the “insides” .. the goods.. the wares.. that is why i feel i can paint on this material.. it feels liberating, encouraging me to just “let go”.
to protect the work both sides of the cardboard are gessoed several times.
i grew up in switzerland and south africa. later i returned to europe but soon moved on to south-east asia. i spent several years there and then returned to europe - where i also lived in various countries. recently i have lived in hungary for several years but for medical reasons i have been in switzerland on and off, well in 2017 that was still the case. now i am back permanently in my home country, switzerland. art has always played a great role in my life and i assume my travels and stays abroad have had a large influence on me and my art. i love to do traditional art, collages and mixed media mostly.. but also photography and digital art.. my style? wild, colourful, energetic... i would call it "naive symbolistic...
